I am looking for any information on the parents or siblings of Constance TAYLOR born 1766. She married Joseph GUESS 11 Jan 1787 in Caswell Co. NC. They moved to Rutherford Co. TN for a few years then to Caldwell Co. KY. She died there 26 Aug 1843. Children were: James; Peggy; Mary"Polly"; Frances; William; Jane "Jinny"; and Nancy. Thank you Brenda Reeder

Taking up Mary's point of 'getting on with the business of genealogy' - I would love to know how many fellow listers are researching TAYLORs in the UK and which parts of the UK their TAYLOR ancestors came from. My TAYLORs go back to 1720 as tollgate keepers, on the Boroughbridge to Darlington turnpike road, at Lovesome Hill near Northallerton in North Yorkshire. From there they have spread out across the North East of England and further afield. I haven't found any members who emigrated yet! and I have hit a brickwall at 1720 and can't get back any further.
