    3. this same discussion happened on another web page, and the admin had to warn the person with being being blocked from the site if it didn't stop. We have a very good admin. and I know she is really trying to control this kind of discussion, and get on with the business of genealogy, which is what we all want. So please, don't keep this going. I for one, am always happy to help any researcher I can, newbie or otherwise. If anyone is researching the Taylor line from the Taylor's New Jersey, or Ohio to Illinois, I will be glad to answer and offer help. Thanks Marilyn for the great job. Mary

    3. Taking up Mary's point of 'getting on with the business of genealogy' - I would love to know how many fellow listers are researching TAYLORs in the UK and which parts of the UK their TAYLOR ancestors came from. My TAYLORs go back to 1720 as tollgate keepers, on the Boroughbridge to Darlington turnpike road, at Lovesome Hill near Northallerton in North Yorkshire. From there they have spread out across the North East of England and further afield. I haven't found any members who emigrated yet! and I have hit a brickwall at 1720 and can't get back any further.
