    1. RE: [TAYLOR] RE: Taylor ancestry;
    2. Earl Taylor
    3. Shirley; Thank you for the kind words. There is so much more. I wrote that from memory only, it is history!! I have that epic poem on death of Baron Taillefeur Sic, at the Battle of Hastings but I doubt I can put my hands on it. I am 86 yrs and my memory is failing!! You and I have exchanged pleasantries before. Are you descended from my Isaac and Isabella, or the Roberts and Johns in Rhode Island?. There are also the family of President Zachary. There are many other Taylor lines which we don't have connections for. Many in VA, NC, TN, AL, shared many first names, lived close together, buried in same cemetaries, There is a Taylor Cemetary NW of Huntsville, AL. and another in Aliceville, Pickens Co. AL where there are many Taylors, probably related but we don't have the connections. I saw a list a while back with more than 100 Isaac Taylors in the East coast at the same time as mine were there. There were MANY ISAAC TAYLORS in just my own family. In early yrs there was one in every family group, along with William, John, Andrew,George, Gideon. with a few Mathews. as well.
