I am new to this particular list, and I don't know much about my Melissa Ann Mills family. Melissa married my gg grandfather William C. Kopp in 1862 in Boonville, Cooper county, Missouri. In the local histories written on that area, I have Melissa's parents as Levi Mills and Sarah or Mary Taylor. Levi is originally from KY b. 1818 and died 1879 in Boonville. But information on his wife is vague. I don't know where Sarah/Mary was born, they were married in IN, and don't know where she died. The history says she is a neice of Pres Zachery Taylor, but unless I know more about her I would not want to assume that. Can anyone help? Thank you so much, Jeanne
