Hi, I am researching the ancestors and descendants of Francis Edlow and Martha Richardson (Wells) Taylor. One question I have is regarding the birthdates for Francis, Martha and their children. Can anyone tell me where those came from? Does someone have a family Bible perhaps? I am attempting to document with original source material as much as possible, and so far I have not been able to find anything regarding the birthdates. I am not descended from this family myself, although I may be descended from the same Thornton line, if those connections prove out. My husband is superintendent at Fort Richardson State Park. Francis was apparently in the military here at the Fort in the 1870's, although I need to confirm that. Two of their grandsons - sons of Julia Stanton - are buried here. My husband asked me to research their family in the interest of preserving the history of the park, to know more about the family. It is not intended for profit of any kind. I would love to hear from descendants of Francis and Martha Taylor. And I'd enjoy visiting with descendants of Robley and Julia (Taylor) Stanton - hoping for more information about this family.
