I think a lot of us have a John Wesley Taylor I have have John Wesley Taylor b. Sept 1845 to Moses W. Taylor and Elizabeth Jane Bankhead. He died in Upshur Co., Tex. I have a date of 1897. I have that he married N.C. but no other information. Does anyone know any more about this person. Any children, or what the initials N.C. stand for. I do not have a surname for N.C. Okay, here goes mine. I am not sure if his middle name is Wesley, but his daughter Elizabeth Taylor Yowell/Ewell married my gggg grandfather William Peachy Crow. They then had a son named James Wesley Crow. This all took place in Rockingham/Augusta/Madison Counties of Virginia. My John Taylor was born abt 1756. He was married to Elizabeth Crigler/Kriegler of Criglersville, Culpeper VA. who was born on July 7, 1759. If anyone has information regarding this John "possibly Wesley" Taylor, I would be more than appreciative as he is my brick wall and I won't be in VA until mid June. I am writing from California.
