Richard Porter Taylor was born about 1920. I believe his father was involved in the invention of the headlight for pre 1930 automobiles, Dick Taylor was a Lt jg in the Armed Guard and was commander of the AD Crew aboard the SS John H. Murphy. He was married to Patricia, had a son Bing? born Dec. 1944. It is my understanding that Lt Taylor died in the 1970s. I would appreciate any information on this person. He was a ship mate. Grant
