Boozy Creek is off old route 58 that goes from Gate City, Va to Bristol Va.

With a creek name like that (Boozy) I bet I can find lots of my family lines along it. I have a George Washington Taylor born in Hamilton Co., Ohio, about 1810, the brother of Isaac, Israel and Samuel, sons of Cornelius and Mary [Fail] Taylor. George and all his brothers, except Israel, settled in Arkansas about 1850 or before. Israel married and stayed around Vincennes, IN where he apparently died before 1850. He had at least a son, Isaac, and a daughter who married a Curry. To my knowledge, George had no children of his own but may have adopted his wife's daughters. On the other hand, Isaac had a number of children , who had descendants in Arkansas. One of his grandsons was named Cornelius.
