Hey Ed, Yeah, I only use familysearch.org for getting clues to individuals or perhaps patterns in naming. There are a whole lots of transcription errors as you mentioned. Here's something different while being related to the earlier topic of the Georgia Secretary of State's 'Virtual Vault'. The following URL takes you directly to those 14 land parcel plats for Taylors in Screven County, Georgia (which I mentioned in my earlier message [1801 - 1851 plats]). For some reason Screven is the only county for which this has been done, so far. And it's obviously incomplete, as I'm familiar with multiple entries of my Screven Co. Reddicks and only three are displayable via this resource. So, this is almost certainly only a partial listing of the Taylors and their land plats within Screven County between 1793 and 1909.
