I have been researching a family that is not a direct line but would like to just finish up a few things about. If anyone out there has been researching the same family I'd love to hear from you. Father: George E. Taylor b. mar 1882 in England immigrated to this country with his father Alex and mother Sarah. He married Mary T. Marshall b. 7 Nov 1878 in Manhattan, NY (date unknown but around 1917-1918). They moved from NY to Wisconsin and had two children 1. Georgette E. Taylor b. 1919 in Wisconsin 2. Richard Taylor b. 1922 in Wisconsin George was manager of the "Rotary Bread Stores" located (in 1923) on 270 Yamhill, Portland, Ore. Mary dies in Sept 1953 in Mult. George's death is unknown but I suspect that it was also during the 1950's. The Oregon Death Index lists a George E. Taylor dd. 6 May 1951/ Multnomah/ #6102 and then a Geo. Taylor 8 Mar 1933/ Mult./ #73. Either one could be him. I suspect that the children have also passed but cannot be sure. If anyone has info. please contact me. I am connected to the family thru the Marshall side of the family and have info. on them going back several generations. Thanks Joan
Do you know where they are buried? I was born in Portland. I now live about 30 miles from there but I'm in Portland at least once a week. Is there something I might be able to do for you?
