    1. Re: [TAYLOR] genetically-related Taylors

    3. Hello, I have some questions about the two Taylor families which you posted. In "W.H. Taylor - Kit #66126": I do not believe that the evidence supports your arrangement of several generations. Robert Taylor (c1662-1693) married Lurana Hudson. Their son Robert Taylor (c1678-1758) married 3 times: (1) Elizabeth, (2) Mary, (3) Ann Hudson. It should be: Robert Taylor c1662-1693, wife Lurana Hudson Robert Taylor c1687-1758, wife (2) Mary Joseph Taylor c1728, etc Documented referenced narratives of both of these Robert Taylors can be found beginning at: http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=ann_blomquist&id=I08540 What is the evidence that Robert Jr's wife was "Mary Ann Hudson?" What is the evidence that Robert Taylor Sr's wife was "Elizabeth Hudson?" What is the evidence that Robert Taylor Sr's father was Capt. Thomas Taylor? In "C.R. Taylor - Kit #26356": William Taylor (born 1730, not c1712) was a also son of Robert Taylor and wife (2) Mary. Best wishes--- Ann Blomquist Orlando, FL ----- Original Message ----- From: Dale E. Hi Folks, Here are the short genealogies for the two individuals who make up the matches within Taylor Group 06. W. H. Taylor - Kit # 66126 1. Capt. Thomas Taylor, 1607 England - 1657 VA 2. Newton Clement Taylor, 1907 - 1981 + Myrtie Marcum 8. Kit donor Taylor - Migration: VA, NC, AL As can be seen from these two genealogies, these two test participants do share a common set of ancestors in Robert Taylor, Jr. and Mary Ann Hudson. Without the matching DNA results that were noticed, then this finding of their shared genealogies might have taken far longer to discover. One of these Taylors has now gained the opportunity to move further back into his Taylor ancestry. If you have a brick wall involving your Taylor lineage, then I urge you to consider having a male Taylor relative undergo DNA testing. I hope that the above information proves to be helpful. Sincerely, Dale E. Reddick Co-Administrator, Taylor Family Genes DNA Surname Project
