Hello, Need some help as these Brenneman, Smith and Taylor families seem to be linked but I can't sort them out. On White CO. ILL. 1850 census there is a Joseph Brenneman 39, Alzada Olinger wife31, (married 10-08-1846 White, ILL.) Emily 2, Sarah Olinges 10, Sarah J. Taylor 14, Mary F. Taylor 8, Mary King 47. I think Emily 2, is the daughter of Joseph and Alazada the other 3 children must belong to Mary King yet there isn't a King and Taylor that fit with marraige time and age on the ILL. marraige Index. I have been working on this little puzzel for about 5 years so could use any help. Next door to them live my gggrandparents Bradley Taylor 21, Julia (Smith) Taylor 23, Susan Smith 10, I don't know if Susan is a little sister to Julia or what. I have searched the marraige index thinking Mary King was a sister to either Braley Taylor because of the Taylor children in the home. I also checked to see he she may have need a sister to Alazda or Joseph but none fit to King name or her age. Dose anyone have anything on this or these family? I will welcome any help. My Taylor family is a brickwall and I am not able to find this Brenneman family and who lives by them after 1850 and I have tried to look at the ILL. marraige index but the names and years are to common to find a marraige for any of the children to follow and look for them on a census. I think this family is linked to bother the Taylor and Smith family next door, just can't find out how. Thank you for any help, Barbara eor@saber.net
