Hi.... I am researching James Marion Taylor, the son of Asberry (Asbery) Davis and Rebeeca Hersey/Hersey.....born Oct 1858 in GA and died Oct 1951 in Bacon Co, GA..... He married Martha Bagley and also married Susie Hersey..... From what I have researched he had the following children with Martha and I am looking for more information on them.... Addline/Adaline Melinda Hersey- born Jun 2, 1879 in GA....possibly Ware....no further info...found her in the 1880 census...but that is it on her.... Mary J. - Mar 14, 1882....no other info.... Benjamin Asberry - 8 Dec 1883...no other info.... John Davis - Sep 30, 1885....no other info James Wesley - 27 Oct 1891...no other info..... I found them in the 1900 Coffee Co, GA census....but nothing after that.... From what I researched he also had children with Susie: Nessa, age 5 in the 1920 Coffee Co, GA Census Bertha, age 2 in 1920 Lexie, age 11 months in 1920..... I have no other info on them..... Stephanie, I noticed on the 1900 Coffee County, GA census that John Taylor also had a daughter named Amanda who married a Barto (spelling) Taylor (could have been a cousin she married). He is listed as John Taylor's son-in-law. She was 15 and he was 25. I found a Bartilany Taylor on the 1910 Coffee County, GA census living with two daughters, Addie M., age 3, and Amandie G., age 6 months. It's possible that his wife, Amanda, died during or just after giving birth to Amandie (Amanda).
