Dempsey Taylor was born in N.C. 1813-15. In 1842 he married Anna Meadors in Whitley Co. KY and had Dennis, Martha, Nancy L, Jemima, Louisa, Lavica, Maranda J, Reuben and Kezziah. Family legend has it that two brothers, one named Dennis, came to Whitley Co with him. The rest of his life he lived in Whitley Co or in neighboring Scott Co TN. Any help will be appreciated.
