Hi, There was an older son that was married, Gabriel Taylor m. Elizabeth Jackson?? and they had five or six girls. They lived in the Cross Community and was on the Friendship Church Roll in 1883. They also had a son, Frederick Taylor that married Catherine Baylor, they are my great-grandparents,they had four children. Catherine died in Charleston in 1906. Frederick went to war and the body was shipped home. Joseph and Susannah died Feb 9, 1852.They died within twelve hours of the other. No idea of where they are buried or cause of death. I have three girls and one boy that does not have a name. This info came from the 1830 census for the Orangeburg District. This family didn't show on the 1840 census but showed on the 1850 census in St. Johns Berkeley Parish, Charleston District. In 1818, John and Joseph Taylor was on a tax list for the St. Matthews Parish owning land and paying tax in that area. I've been trying to find the parents of John but thats my brick wall. In the 1860 SC census INDEX there is some families that I've tried to connect to Joseph and Susannah. I have completed a 20 Marker DNA test then I went back an ordered an up-date to the 44 Marker test. Have about 11 more Markers to be certified. Thanks for the come back.
