Hello, all, Thanks to the '41 census I may have found a crack in a major brick wall, but it looks like I may need help cracking it further. If anyone recognizes these names, I'd be delighted for any information. In 1841, James T. LINDLEY b. abt 1771 is found in Darfield, Staincross hundred. Others in the household are his widowed son John [head, b. abt 1808], and John's children Hannah 11, Mary 8, Daniel 6, and Henry 3. John's wife Elizabeth TAYLOR had died bet 1837 & 1841, but also in the household is a James TAYLOR which may have been a younger brother or nephew of Elizabeth. Also in the household is the family of Daniel [ADVON?] 40, his wife Ann 30, John 4 and Mary 6 mo. The relationship of this family to the LINDLEYs or TAYLORs is unknown. Thanks in advance!
