Hi Folks, This was just posted via the GaArchives effort of USGenWeb to the Screven County, Georgia e-mail list. The mentioned Rocky Branch is a bit of a mystery to me. There is a Rocky Creek in the northeastern portion of Screven County, which is a tributary of the Savannah River. Most of its modern watercourse and length is found within the bounds of the Wade Plantation. However, this Rocky Branch is described as a tributary of Beaver Dam Creek (a tributary of Brier Creek, which in turn is a tributary of the Savannah River). Dale E.
