Hi Gwen - With what dates are your Taylors associated? I have Taylors around Vincennes in the mid 1800s, but I do not know what happened to a son of Israel Taylor of that time, named Isaac, who disappears from the census after Israel's wife marries another man after Israel's death. The last census with Isaac's name implies that he was working on the railroad.
