    3. Posting more updated information on my Taylor ancestors 1881 Census of Canada shows Henry's occupation as weaver. They emigrated to Ontario and lived in Georgetown/Limehouse/Acton towns which are all within a couple of miles of each other. The area is known for cloth weaving, glove making and tanneries. There are several early Taylor's there from the 1840's, but I have not been able to establish any relationships between the earlier settler Taylor's and later arrivals of other Taylor's and my Taylor's. Henry Taylor was a weaver. Canada census indicates he was born in 1821, but his death certificate states death in March 8, 1891 in Esquessing, Ontario at 75 years 4 months 29 days. This would make his birth 1815/1816. The death register shows " CountyDown, Ireland" as his birth place. The informant was his son in law William Pitt of Esquessing and so I would think the death information to be accurate. Henry's wife was Grace ?? b. 1825 according to the Census and born in Ireland.
