Dora, sorry this isn't about DNA tests, and this probably could be called clutching at straws, but Dennis Taylor b ca 1817 N C, migrated to Whitley Co KY sometime in the 1830s where he married Susan Richardson, then moved to Green Co MO and later to Cloud Co Kansas where he died sometime around 1880. At least one of his sons went to Canada. If this sounds familiar, I have more info.
