Ray; I have taken two Taylor DNA tests. One from Relative genetics and the other from Family Tree. So far they have produced one cousin Jeb Stuart Taylor of Falls Church, VA and we have been unable to find a connection. He always believed he was related to line of Pres Zachary Taylor, My family has the Legend that we are also related to Zachary. Zach's family, Jeb's family and my family all share the same area ie James River Valley VA, Orange Co. and we share many names. My Taylors were Scots-Irish from Antrim, Ulster, Ireland. Zach's family came from England to VA early 1600s, My Taylors came from Antrim to same place EARLY 1700s and share many first names, COINCIDENCE??? I have Smith ancestors too My g grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Smith of Somerset Co. VA and Preston Co. WV She was b 28 Jan 1854 Preston Co. WV.
