Ed; I can't say that but I'm sure many were. I know my Isaac had a cousin named Isaac who lived near him and named his kids mostly the same And there was an Isaac Taylor in PA who was a surveyor I once saw a list of 100 + Isaac Taylors on the east coast abt this time. There were many Taylors and Isaac was a common name. Other popular names in my line are William, Robert, Thomas, Andrew, Mathew, James. I think my Isaac's father was William but have no proof, My Isaac was b Antrim, Ulster, Ireland abt 1700. He came to America, Lexington, VA, abt 1737. Had sons Andrew, George, John, Isaac Jr., and William. I have children and descendants of Andrew and Isaac Jr One child for George and nothing on John and William except spouses.
