Peggy; There were several Barzillais in my line with spelling variations such as Brazilla. Mine, Barzillai Barnard was b Apr 1763 Nantucket, MA and migrated to TN and he died nr Huntsville, Madison co. AL. He had a "Plantation" on Brier Creek nr Huntsville, AL I think NASA has an installation there now. Joseph Taylor and wife Jane Blackburn had Plantation on other side of Brier Creek. Their children Albert C Taylor and Martha Matilda Barnard married and moved to Aliceville, Pickens co. AL. They later moved to Noxubee, MS and on to TX.
