    3. Hi, I found John Taylor in the 1790 census for the Orangeburg District, then he showed up in the 1820 and 1830. In these census he showed up with Joseph Taylor and he had more children (5 or six), joseph had married Susannah and they had three children. Then I searched the tax list for that area and found that both, John and Joseph owned land in the St. Matthews Parish,SC. Trying to figure the age from the census records, John might have been born about 1752-1760? Joseph and his family was in the 1850 census. Hope this will help. 3. Shirl and anyone else interested in buying and whomever may be selling CD's, Rootsweb frowns on messages with any dollar amounts in them, so, please, if you have CD's available, just post when they are ready and then ask those interested to contact you off list for prices and delivery. That way, no dollar amounts are in the archived messages and neither are home addresses and phone numbers :-( Thanks, Marilyn list admin ----- Original Message ----- From: <ShineOn101@aol.com> To: <TAYLOR-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 18, 2006 12:37 PM Subject: [TAYLOR] Re: TAYLOR-D Digest V06 #143 >I would like to buy a copy of the CD on the Taylor family also. 3. Hello, I want to say thank you as this gives me a very good start to follow and try and put some family lines together. Jacob Smith is said to be the founder of the town in Old Mode, ILL. and his sister Julia Smith married Bradley Taylor and they were orphans so I didn't have a clue as to where to start on the Smith or the Taylor line. This gives me a wonderful start with the Smith now I just need a start on Bradley Taylor parents or brothers and sisters.
