I'm sorry--the only information I have been able to find is the 1880 census page from Louisa Court House, Louisa, Virginia. Aurizon Taylor and his wife Martha are both 68 years old and living in the home of their daughter Jane and her husband Charles Bailey. With as unusual a name as Aurizon, I thought that I'd be able to find more information on him, but nothing yet. Perhaps the census taker got his name wrong?? Laura Bruton Argyle , TX

Since the Taylor list has become suddenly very active, I wonder if anyone would have a Harry Condit Taylor b/in Illinois, married Elizabeth Smith in 1884 ? Elizabeth Smith was born in Louisa Co. IA in 1862, and moved and died in Parsons, Kansas. They had two children, do not know their names. Thanks if you should have any information on the above. Leta

Hi Folks, Earl is part of our Group 05 of Taylors who are genetically related. You can see how he and the other -grouped- Taylors are described in our DNA Y results webpage: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/taylorfamilygenes/index.aspx?fixed_columns=on Earl's own personal (but -brief-) genealogy can be seen in the following. ** 1. *Isaac Taylor* (1700 IRE - 1781 VA) + Isabella Wilson 2. *Isaac Taylor Jr* (173x VA - xxx) + Emmaline (Ware?) 3. *Joseph Taylor* (1761 VA - 1806/8 AL) + Jane Blackburn 4. *Albert C Taylor* (1807 TN - 1866 AL) + Martha Barnard 5. *William M Taylor* (1832 AL - 1920 TX) + Eliza Osburn 6. *James Albert Taylor* (1863 TX - 1922 CA) + Rebecca Vickers 7. *James Wesley Taylor* (1894 TX - 1974 CA) + Neva Elliott 8. *Kit owner* Migration: NC=>TN=>AL=>MS=>TX=>CA Other surnames: Van Bibber, Shepherd, Pirker Anyhow, Earl is a descendant of Isaac and anyone who matches up with him via DNA testing then has an inkling of where to conduct further research. Jeb Taylor has certainly benefited from this knowledge, as he and Earl match up on their DNA test results. I hope that this bit of information helps someone. Dale E. It seem like there are alot of e-mails on this so rather then all of us posting on the Taylor site about it as I and sure like you don't even know who to contact that put the first e-mail but would like to know about it to see if we want to get one. It seems like this would help on the e-mails as I and others do not know who to contact about it so the only place to do so is on this list. Sending this to the list group now (I hope.) Thanks to all of you who wrote me personally while I was getting my e-mail address straightened out. I hope I replied to everyone who wrote me personally. And to Michael - thank you SO very much! This must be a result of having a paid account at Ancestry.com. I hope I can afford that one day. I've left in the bottom part of your response, because these are people so close to me or whom I know so much about. The youngest girls are my Great-Aunt Edna, who never married, and Mallie, my grandmother. And now you've taken me a step beyond, with a new name - Z. F. Taylor and his wife, Mary D. Clark. I have slightly more detailed information of these names with middle names, (Maud's name is "Della Maude,") marriages, and dates of deaths, if anyone wants to know more, from the Taylor Family Bible, which my cousin has copied for me. Witnesses to the wedding of John William Taylor and Mary Frances Weathers on 23 Sep 1875, were Mrs. Katie Wright and Angie Berry. Again, Michael - thank you! This was like a trip back home to Sedalia, MO. Regards, Mary Lee <-- in Texas, and VERY homesick!
