    3. Hi Folks, Rayburn Taylor is the administrator and webmaster for our Taylor DNA website. He has just fixed one of the best features of our Y-STR DNA Results webpage. Now, along with being able to see our first groupings of Taylors who are genetically related - we've also got brief genealogies included for many of our test participants. For example, here's the brief genealogy for Earl Taylor (participant kit # 30516) in our recently formed Taylor Group 05: Earl H. Taylor - Kit No. 30516 1. Isaac Taylor (1700 IRE - 1781 VA) + Isabella Wilson 2. Isaac Taylor Jr (173x VA - xxx) + Emmaline (Ware?) 3. Joseph Taylor (1761 VA - 1806/8 AL) + Jane Blackburn 4. Albert C Taylor (1807 TN - 1866 AL) + Martha Barnard 5. William M Taylor (1832 AL - 1920 TX) + Eliza Osburn 6. James Albert Taylor (1863 TX - 1922 CA) + Rebecca Vickers 7. James Wesley Taylor (1894 TX - 1974 CA) + Neva Elliott 8. Kit owner Migration: NC=>TN=>AL=>MS=>TX=>CA Other surnames: Van Bibber, Shepherd, Pirker The URL for our Y-STR DNA Results webpage is: http://taylordna.org/y-dna.html Just click on the -underlined- kit numbers and you'll be able to read an individual's brief genealogy. I hope that some portion of what's been presented here is useful to someone. Dale E. Reddick

    3. Stephanie, I noticed on the 1900 Coffee County, GA census that John Taylor also had a daughter named Amanda who married a Barto (spelling) Taylor (could have been a cousin she married). He is listed as John Taylor's son-in-law. She was 15 and he was 25. I found a Bartilany Taylor on the 1910 Coffee County, GA census living with two daughters, Addie M., age 3, and Amandie G., age 6 months. It's possible that his wife, Amanda, died during or just after giving birth to Amandie (Amanda). 3. I believe the line of Abraham Taylor has been pretty well recorded and have seen it in my research for my New England Taylors. I have membership in New England Historic and Genealogical Society and can do lookuos of their online databases. Is ther anything in particular you are looking for? My Taylors were from Sciuate, R.I. and my Whittakers were from Scituate, Mass. The Whittaker line dead ends with a John b. 1810 England or Scituate? and the Taylor line dead ends with a John b. abt. 1675, married at Milton, Mass, and settled at Scituate (Providence) Rhode Island. Hello Taylors, I descend from SARAH ELLEN TAYLOR HEAD (my gr grandmother) of Surry Co NC (later Morgan Co IN). She was the daughter of Matthew Taylor, JR of Surry CO NC> If anybody on the list is genetically related to Matthew Taylor Sr. or Jr., I would love to hear from them. Matthew Taylor Jr., had sons Thomas, Mathew, Mark, William, John and Francis. They are all named as heirs of Matthew Taylor and Frances (Martin) Taylor, in a Yadkin Co 3 April 1854, deed. Also listed are daughters Sarah Ellen, Jane and Judith. Anybody recognize any of these Taylors? I have much on Sarah and Janes descendants which I would love to share. 1. Re: [TAYLOR] RE: Another William Taylor of English origin - searchable LDS books online.
    2. Dale E. Reddick
    3. Hi Folks, NOW SEARCH OVER 600 BOOKS WHICH THE FAMILY HISTORY LIBRARY HAS ONLINE. In Sept. 2005, the LDS Family History Library announced that it has begun the process of digitizing & making available on the Internet ALL of the Family History books in their collection. HOW TO FIND THE DIGITIZED IMAGES The Surname search page is found at this URL: http://www.lib.byu.edu/fhc/ I ran a search on the surname Taylor and got 126 search hit results. Several of them were for family history books relating to Taylor families. Dale E.
