    3. Ann: you mentioned your book Taylor and Tates.....I saw this book at the Georgia State Archieves...and found my grandfather Rev. Joseph Camp in it. You have him married to a Tate. How did you come up with this. My grandmother was Susannah Roundtree. Are you saying that she was a Tate and had been married to a Roundtree before she married Joseph Camp? Three grandsons of Rev. Joseph Camp's son Abner married into a Taylor Family....Joseph Alexander Camp married Lucretia Taylor; William Camp married Fanny Taylor and Lawson Camp married Priscilla Taylor. These ladies are not sisters....My Grandmother remembered that Lucretia was descended from Henry Taylor who had married Prissy Naylor. Do any of these name sound familiar. I would like to hear from you. Elizabeth Camp Anthony EAnthony@prodigy.net

DANIEL Taylor (1761-1834) was a son (the third child and second son) of James Taylor (1731-1815) and Ann Owen (1738-1814). Daniel was born in Cumberland Co VA and served in the Revolution. He married Jane Rowland in Henry Co VA in 1780 and they migrated to Grainger Co TN in 1795. Daniel's older brother GEORGE Taylor (1759-1843) left Henry Co VA after the Revolution, living in Oglethorpe GA, Jackson Co GA (where he served as Clerk of the Superior Court 1796-1806), Franklin Co TN, settling in Madison Co AL where he died. My published family history, Taylor and Tates of the South, documents this family carefully. It is 986 pages, hardcover, 150 photographs and documents, full name index. I have posted some of this family information at Ancestry.com. Ann Blomquist Orlando, FL
