Dear Carleen: I don't understand your message below. A: There are several ways that you may have been removed, 1: There is an autobounce routine that kicks in after 4 bounces. 2: The list admin ( me) can remove subscribers for any reason, but normally for violations of various kinds ( which I didn't do) 3: You send a post to Taylor-L-request which has the word unsubscribe somewhere in the message. B: I unsubscribed Scott a couple of days ago. He would have needed to login to my account ( with passwords) to do it from tools menu or he would need to forge a return address from you. I get copies if all subscribe and unsubscribe messages for that reason. Please forward to me personally the message you received regarding the unsub notice. I'm sorry you got unsubed but I think it was merely the bounce limit that kicked it. You did the right thing then by sending in a new subscribe message. I do not think that it is safe to assume that these are the same families. Do you have any information to put them at the same homesite? Taylor is such a common name and the given names that these families share are also very common. The are many discrepencies which suggest to me that these are not the same families. Hello, Carl York has published three outstanding, carefully researched articles about this Taylor family in Tennessee Ancestors, the tri-annual publication of the East TN Historical Society, April 1997 (15 pages), August 1997 (18), and December 1997 (39). These articles include their children and the children's families. I am trying to find information on Rena M. Taylor b. 1926/27 NY. She was married to Willard Hulse in the late 1940's and early 1950's. At one time she lived in Buffalo, NY on Cottage Street. In the early 1970's she was married to a James Bortle and I believe they lived in Honeyoe Falls, NY. Rena mainly lived in and around Canandaigua, NY. She is my mother. She had a sister Jen/Gen possibly Genievie (sp) and a brother Harold. I am at a brick wall and cannot find any information on her or any family members. I have many messages posted and also I have been searching for many years. If anyone can help me or give me any kind of advice as where to look, it will be greatly appreciated. God bless anyone and everyone who can help me. Thank You so much in advance, Jean Marie Hulse-Diggs SURNAMES: TREMMEL, HULSE, CHESLOCK, GILLESHOCK, GUSICK, TAYLOR
