Suffolk, England, and died 1647 in 'Phanton Ship' at Sea. He married Rhoda 1640 in Windsor, CT. Children of John Taylor and Rhoda are: + 2 i. John3 Taylor, born 1639; died May 13, 1704. 3 ii. Abigail Taylor, born 1641; died 1643. 4 iii. Thomas Taylor, born 1643. He married Rebecca Ketchum. 5 iv. Anna Taylor, born 1644; died 1644. 6 v. Hannah Taylor, born 1646; died 1650.

    3. Terri A number of Taylors first came to Canada and then moved to the US. I know that in my family two of six children left PEI and moved to Maine. This might also be a lead for you, and would include PEI and Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Victor

The first Taylor, recorded in landing in America, is Matthew, but the records are on brother Edward, known as Edward the emigrator, in Stillwell's book Historical and Genealogical Miscellany by John Stillwell, M.D. they landed at Perth Amboy, his, Edward's cattle is registered in 1684 in the "book of Land Patents" with his cattle mark in 1684. It is likely one of these is the father of your Taylors, Anyway it is names to check out.
