    1. Re: [TAYLOR] Andy Taylor-TN died 1883!!
    2. Martha, That Andy Taylor was not murdered! He was hung because he murdered someone else. They only give States, no counties. You may try to find the site owner and ask where you can get this information. Carleen Here is the page he is on. <A HREF="http://users.bestweb.net/~rg/execution/T.htm"> http://users.bestweb.net/~rg/execution/T.htm</A> http://users.bestweb.net/~rg/execution/T.htm

    1. Re: [TAYLOR] FIGHT BACK AMERICA, ITS YOUR CHANCE NOW TO DO SOMETHING BESIDES GRIPE
    2. I don't have quite the same feeling about gas. I think we should be tapping our resources in this country. It's okay to ruin their environment, but not America?? All of it is our world, our planet! Nobody says a word about what they pay for a bottle of water at a 7-11. Did you ever figure out how much a gallon you are paying for water?

    2. Sharon Dolbee
    3. Question: How is the best way to back track on a family? 1. I have only sparce information and don't know who Monroe Taylors parents were, other than they came from NC and AL. 2. I think he died early and his wife re-married. Her name was Eliza Runnel. (She was supposedly Indian or part Indian.) 3. Are there 1890 census for Texas? I know in Oklahoma they only had 1910 census. I have not be able to find these people, except for the 1880 census where Monroe Taylor is 25 and working for a William Heath as a farm hand. Any suggestions on this will be appreciated. Thanks Sharon D

    2. Please! Let's stick to genealogy. I don't mean to make anyone mad...but this is not the right list for this sort of stuff. I don't mind wading through the repeated "replies"...where people copy and paste a person's query to the list to add a note to it...but please...no more jokes, Gas price info or stuff that don't concern genealogy. This is not what the list is about. I'm surprised the list owner hasn't said something. ~Carol > WHERE GASOLINE COMPANIES BUY GAS FROM: > > > > > >This came from an irate, unknown source, but is quite an eye opener if > > > >accurate. 1. Re: [TAYLOR] Andy Taylor-TN died 1883!!
    2. Josie Wheatley wrote the list and asked for more information in Andy Taylor who was murdered in TN in 1883. I wish to know more about this fellow also. I have an Andrew "Andy" TAYLOR in my family file (no birth or death date). He was a son of Abner Taylor, b. 1790 in Carter Co., TN & d. 1869 in Madison Co., TN, and Laura Weston Polk. Their children are: Andrew "Andy" Taylor Sarah Jane Taylor Rebecca Williams Taylor Mary Eliza Taylor Olivia Polk Taylor Abner Taylor was a son of Isaac Taylor (1757-1842 Carter Co., TN) and Jane Cunningham. Is this the same ANDY TAYLOR FAMILY? Martha

If you have a particular message to one person, that message must be directed to that person or it goes to all. This may not be always appropriate or necessary, particularly if you are responding to a lookup request or writing a personal message. I think it is an option whether or not to receive a copy of your messages to the list at large. In any event, all options are detailed in the welcome message you got when you subscribed. Maybe in the mixup of being unsubscribed, you were resub'd with this option set ON. Clear as mud?! Linda <http://www.king.igs.net/~bdmlhm/>
