    3. Mary, thanks so very much for the information and especially for your interest and time in researching. Unfortunately, it is the information that I had submitted a few years ago. Isn't it amazing how some families just seem to disappear. Also, I am still looking for the parents of Dr. Stephen Taylor, father of James L. Taylor. I have never been able to connect Dr. Stephen Taylor to any other Taylor Families in Sullivan or Meigs Co TN or Mecklenburg Co NC where he married into the Hartgrove Family. 1. Re: [TAYLOR] Rootsweb census--County changes
    2. I just wanted to say Thanks! to everyone for their helpful responses and offerings. genealogists are the nicest people in the world!! I was actually trying to find a Smith in the 1900 census in Allegheny County Pa., but couldn't in what was listed, so I was wondering if it had all been entered into the database, but my guess is that it hasn't. There weren't nearly as many Smiths on the RootsWeb site as I remember trying to dig through on the census at my genealogy library. Thanks again to everyone, and continued Happy Hunting!! 2. Just ask on any list for someone who has the "HANDY BOOK," or the new one may be called the "red book," ( I have the old one). It gives the dates the counties were formed, and from which counties they were taken, or if they were original counties to begin with. I have been off here for a wk, so I don't remember what State you were asking abt, so write and tell me. Carleen
