I will send the info tonight. It is on my home computer and I am at my office. Thanks for the help. It is gratefully appreciated. Shirl
I am interested in the Taylor's in your research. I have Taylor and Vanover connections. Shirl
If you send me some information, vitals and such, I will look them up, and see what I have. The papers are not in sequence, or indexed, so the more information the better chance to find them. Mary
I have some information I copied at the library, they include some bible records, cemetery records, for Kent County, Delaware, Revolutionary Patriots of Delaware --1775-1783. Also, Genealogies of Virginia, Families, and Encyclopedia Of Virginia Biography. I do not have all of the pages in these books, only what I thought would help me in my search, which is Taylor's. There are some extended families in these pages. I will look up names, but only with vitals since I will not know anybody's lines. Bear in mind, this will not be a fast turn around reply, since I have to research these papers. I have noticed a lot of queries for this area. and hopefully, maybe just the one person you need. Mary
Thanks anyway, it was worth a try. Fran
Fran, Sorry, I don't have information on either one. The only other James Milton Taylor in my line was the grandson of James Milton Taylor, b 1823 in SC. The latter JMT was born in Suwannee County, Florida in 1882. Searching for the parents of Josiah Taylor birth date unknown, guessing around 1780 something, probley in the New England area, he died 1830 in New York. No county or town yet. married Phoebe Butterfield, she was born in New Hampshire. I have one child listed, don't know the others, Jonathan Forest Taylor born 29 May 1814 Hancock, Hillsboro, NH and died 28 Aug 1878 and is barred in Saratoga Cemetery in Minnesota. I'm researching James Milton Taylor, born 1823. Married Eliza Ann Telford, born 1825. Lived in Belton, Anderson County, SC. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with information on this family. Bette Taylor Harrison
Hi List: here is my brick wall. I have been looking for my grandfather for so many years now I think that my Father was hatched. I know my GGgrandfather Joseph TAYLOR and his son John TAYLOR grandfather. John had 6 sons could bee grandfather and 2 only 15 and 17 at my fathers birth date. Here are their names William b.1863>James b. 1864 (he died in prison in 1888) Have letters stating that is a single man.>Joseph b. 1886. They are from St. Clair Co., MO. My father was raised by John and Rebecca (LORD) TAYLOR. By the time I started on genealogy all family members were dead. So I have No one to ask and I filled out my fathers death info. So you can see my dilemma. My fathers name was Johny L. (Jack) TAYLOR b. 1887. He was in his fiftys when I was born. Thanks everyone for reading this long E-Mail but I need help. Thanks again Jackie TAYLOR/ McWilliams
