    3. I have a Benjamin Taylor from Virginia in my line of Taylor but don't have his wifes name . However he had a daughter named Belinda Taylor in Kentucky that married a John Brinson . I have a gr gr gr grandfather named Samuel McDaniel Taylor born 1770 IT (TN) his wifes name was Mary Brinson born 1774 KY. They had several children there in Ky befor immigrating to AL, TN, area. There son my 2nd gr grand father Zebedee Taylorborn 1805 KY ., married a Mary Jane Grooms born 1806 NC. They were married in Franklin CO., TN. Notes that I have for Robert are as follows..........1783, migrated from Ireland with his father to a farm in Northcumberland Co., PA., 1802, located in what is now Sullivan Co., PA, 1831 - built a saws mill, 1832 - built a still house. I have a notation that Robert's father is Frederick Taylor. Any information would be most appreciated. Robert is my 4th great grandfather............

On the 1818 tax list for the St Matthews Parish, SC, I found John and Joseph owning farms in that area. They were also in the 1820 and 1830 census. In the 1850 census Joseph and his son Frederick showed up in St John's Berkeley Parish, Charleston District, SC. They were all b in Antrim, Ulster, IRE William and Isaac went to VA(Borden tract)one stayed in PA and one went back to Ire where he died, and I have no documentation, just the facts. Isaac got land in the Borden Tract, went back to Antrim and returned with his family, arriving in Orange/Augusta Co. Va abt 1737. My Blackburns lived for a while in Chester Co.
