I recently lost some info on my pc so I'm having to search again for this info. Forgot the name of the person who helped me but am hoping it was through here. I am looking for information on Charles Eugene Taylor of Wise County, Virginia. He has a son, Ronald Eugene Taylor. Know Charle's sisters are Gail Ramey and Sue Vanover. I am the mother of Brandi and Justin Taylor who are the children of Ronald Eugene Taylor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dawn __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Marilyn There was a James H Taylor lived with my grandparents from abt 1880-1910(I have recently learned he was son of Creed Taylor) he was also related to my Neatherlin family(my gr grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Neatherlin Vickers). I have a picture of him, he lived with my grandparents in TX and NM. My father did not know his connection to the family. My grandmother Rebecca Anne Vickers Taylor was blind from age 6.Her father Caleb Vickerrs did not come home from civil war and Sarah lived with her blind daughter. James H Taylor also lived with them for many yrs. I've "rescued" two old photographs of Mrs. Gertrude TAYLOR and her husband (Mr. TAYLOR) which were both taken at the Paul Tralles Studio in Washington DC. I believe the photographs were probably taken in the 1880's with both appearing to be in their 30's or 40's at the time. I'm hoping to locate someone from this TAYLOR Family so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to their rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

Re Ann Lewis and her daughter-in-law Lucy Byne. Because of the marriage of Lucy Byne with Capt. Richard Taylor, son of Ann Lewis and Edmund Taylor, I have suspected that there was a connection of the Lewises and Bynes of King and Queen Co, VA. My many great grandfather was Rev. Edmund Byne who married another Ann Lewis, probably in King and Queen Co. before he brought his family from that county to Burke Co., GA, shortly after the Rev. War. Unfortunately, the records of King and Queen Co. were burned, so there is little on the Byne and Lewis families in that county, except what has been handed down through the family lines. Some of this information for the early famiies can be found in Vol. 17 of the Charles H. Andrews Papers, in the portion for the Iverson Louis Harris papers, in the Southern Historical Collection at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dick; I don't recognise your Taylor names. Richard was big in line of Pres Zachary Taylor. There is a Taylor DNA test going on now. I took it and found one match out of 40 or so. It was Jeb Stuart Taylor of VA. I have another Taylor line in RI Humphrey Taylor ancestor of my Vickers g mother. I am descended from Isaac Taylor and Isabella Wilson who came from Antrim, Ulster, IRE in 1737 to Orange Co. VA. You should take the Taylor DNA test. Ron; Can you help this man?
