The Jackson Times - April 1965 JOHN CHILDERS DIES IN WOLFE AT AGE OF 88 John Manuel Childers, 88 died at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at Little's Nursing home, Campton after a long illness. He was a retired farmer and a native of Wolfe County. Surviving are two sons, Ray Childers, Washington Courthouse, Ohio, and Earnest Childers, Tampa, Fla; three daughters, Mrs. Beva York, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Emily Schull, West Middletown, Ohio and Mrs. Bethel Bryner, Tampa, Fla; three brothers, Howard Childers, Jackson; Harlan Childers, Harrison, Ohio, and Walter Childers, Campton, and a sister, Mrs. Jane Moore, Campton. Services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Antioch Mission Church, Mary by the Rev. Carl Faulkner.
