********************************************************************** WOLFE COUNTY NEWS, Jan. 31, 1951 MRS. MANERVA CHAMBERS Mrs. Manerva (Granny) Chambers, 82, native of Wolf County, died at 5:10 a.m. today at the home of a nephew, Elmer Childers, of Jacksonburg, following a long illness. Mrs. Chambers came to this city in 1945. Survivors are five brothers, Harry Childers of Cleveland, Tex., J. Howard Childers of Talbee, Ky., John Childers of Mary, Ky., Harlan Childers of Cincinnati, and Walter Childers of Beattyville, Ky., and a sister, Mrs. R.S. Moore, of Mary, Ky. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Wilson funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. I'm somewhat confused with this obit. Minerva d/o John Breeding Childers and Nancy Taulbee m1) Granville Williams, m. 2) John Shull born 1862 TN m. Nov. 11, 1920 in Wolfe m. 3) William H. Chambers born April 8, 1860 d. Nov. 18, 1936. As far as I know she only had one daughter who died in 1911. Did Elmer live in Jacksonburg, Florida??? And why was she buried in the Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, Ohio. Minerva did have nieces and nephews living in Ohio, but she also had siblings in Wolfe. Who was Harry Childers? I'm having trouble listing the 14 children of Johnny B. and Nancy. I think they were using first, middle and nicknames in everything I've found. I can't find an Archibald Childers, unless he was born and died between the 1880 and 1900 census. 1900 Lee County Granvil Williams 27 Minervia 31 1-1 Lula 3 Carole
