Tom-- Just wondering what Taulbee line you are from. I am from James via William Hitchcock Taulbee. Bess
Dear Bess.....My father was Edwin Curtis Taulbee and his father was John Riley Taulbee whose brother was J. Franklin Taulbee of Georgetown, Texas and I confess ignorance as to my paternal great grandfather but I believe we are in the John Dial line. No blindness in any "male Taulbee" in our line - at least to my knowledge My grandfather died relatively young or I should say when my father was about 16 but he was not blind and both "Uncle Frank" and my father were in their early to mid eighties, at death with no sight trouble. Am fascinated by the material and the interest and should be more "organized".
