>From the Jackson Hustler April 17, 1891 Married, last week, at the residence of the bride's father, on Holly Creek, C.B. Ferrie and Miss Margaret Taulbee, at a very young age. We wish them a pleasant and prosperous journey through life. (Note: I have no ideal who this could be) On same page: The jury in the case of Charles Kincaid, for the killing of Hon. W.P. Taulbee, brought in a verdict of not guilty. The testimony was conflicting. Kincaid testified that Taulbee was coming toward him with his hand in his hip pocket when he fired the fatal shot. Others stated that Taulbee did not see Kincaid when the shot was fired. The government made a strong fight for conviction, and the other side an equally strong one for acquittal. Carole
