Bonita was the daughter of Jesse Curtis and Alene Hanks. I think she was the daughter that they called Peanut. Jesse and Alene had four children, two daughters Bonita and Wanda Lee, son Tommy and a child who died at birth. I beleive I saw that in the Oakland Press, but I wasn't able to drive myself at that time. I live in Rochester myself. In the 60's I brought my dad Elmer (Sparkie) Taulbee all around that area to visit his cousins. The family I remember was the Morton and Effie Taulbee. Idid a lot of research for the TAulbee book. My dad and my husband both got sick at the same time. Dad died 75 and my husband 77. Wasn't the late Bonita a Curtis? Didn't your family have the Garbage disposal business for a while? There is others that I would like to ask you about.
