ADAMS, Rex age 92, of 3 DeRosa Ave. DeBary, FL., passed away Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Oakwood Garden, DeLand, FL. He was born on July 16, 1911 in Clay City, Kentucky, the son of David and Lillian (Ballard) Adams. Mr. Adams was formerly employed by General Motors as a carpenter for 30 years, retiring in 1971. Preceding him in death were his parents; 1st wife of 49 years Grace Adams, son Billy Adams, brothers David, James C., Rodney and Clayton Adams and sisters Bernice Nolan, Vena Phibbs and Hoyt. He is survived by his wife Irene (Taulbee) Adams, children Earl B. Adams and his wife Wilma of DeBary, FL., Donald Y. Adams and his wife Barbara of Miami Township, Wanda R. Campbell and her husband Winford of Waynesvllie, OH., Linda J. McKinney of Fairfield Township and Carol S. Finney and her husband David of Springboro, grandchildren William C. Adams and his wife Jane, Thomas S. Adams and his wife Deb, Andrew M. Adams and his wife Marsha, James F. Adams, Michael A. Adams and his wife Tammy, Randall K. Adams and his wife Cheryl, Emily D. Moore and her husband Bill, Kevin L. Campbell and his wife Eve, Holly R. Campbell, Daniel D. McKinney and his wife Lisa, Ginger S. Mullins and her husband Larry and Leah K. Burggraf, 22 great grandchildren and a sister Ethel Carr of Clay City, Kentucky. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 3, 2003, 1:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church, Springboro with the Reverend Mark Shimer officiating. Burial will be in the Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Arrangements are made by Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin.
