Salyersville Independent 2004 Panzie Montgomery Taulbee, 79 of Royalton passed away Thursday, Jan. 29 at her residence. Panzie was born Nov. 8, 1924 in Sublet, the daughter of the late Reece and Nell Collins Montgomery. Mrs. Taulbee was a homemaker and a devoted mother to her family. Survivors includes three sons, Larry (Eva Gay) Taulbee of Delray Beach, Florida; Alvin (Vicky) Taulbee of Indianapolis, IN; and Merlin "Craig" (Tammy) Taulbee, of Salyersville; one son-in-law, Ronnie Howard, of Salyersville; one brother, Ramey Montgomery; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who love and miss her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Taulbee; one daughter, Theda Mae Howard; two brothers, Guy and Bubby Montgomery; three sisters, Elsie Williams, Mary Lou Minix and Jessie Richardson. Burial followed in the Taulbee Cemetery on the Lower Left Hand Fork of Taulbee Fork in Breathitt County. Carole
