Ruth Taulbee Miller, 79 d. April 6, 1998. She was born July 14, 1918 at Glomawr in Perry County, KY a daughter of the late Western C. Taulbee and Sana Tyree Taulbee. Her husband, Everett Miller preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Robert L. Miller and wife, Carolyn of Campton and Thomas Miller and wife, Ruth Ann, of Jackson; a brother, Henry B. Taulbee, Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Lena L. Vancleve, of Hargett, KY two grandsons, Bobby Miller of Atlanta, GA and Jimmy Scott Miller of Hazel Green; two great grandsons, Roy Everett Miller and Austin James miller, both of Hazel Green. He was a member of the Hazel Green Christian Church and a veteran of the Spanish American War. He had been a member of the Mizpah Lodge of Masons for fifty consecutive years.He was preceded in death by his wife many years. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Anita Salyers of Clearwater, Fla.; Mrs. Lena Lane Vancleve of Irvine, Mrs. Duth (Ruth) Miller of Campton, Mrs. Esther Housemeyer of Rising Sun, Ind.; and Mrs. Regina Centers of Milton, Ky.; two sons, Robert Taulbee of Cleveland, Ohio and Henry Bryan Taulbee of Dayton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted in the Hazel Green Christian Church at 11 a.m. with Cox Funeral Home of Irvine in charge. Rev. Joe Nevius, pastor of the West Liberty Christian Church, delivered the sermon. Burial was in the Taulbee Cem. at Insko with military rites by the Army Reserve Unit from Irvine, Ky. Taulbee of Clay City, passed away quietly at her home in that city Tuesday morning, June 17, 1952 after an ilness of 3 years. Funeral services were conducted at the Hazel Green Methohdist Church on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock, with Rev. McClain of Clay City bringing the message. [June 19, 1952] Burial followed immediately in the family cemetery at Insko under the direction of Wayne Cox Funeral Home, Irvine. Pall bearers were D.C. Rose, E.T. Kash, Jasper Jones, John Coldiron and R.E. Buchanan.
