William (Bill) King, age 99 of Lexington, KY (formerly of VanCleve, KY) passed away Wed. April 9, 2003 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Born Nov. 25, 1903 in Breathitt County, Ky he was the son of the late Taylor and Dulcena Smith King and the widower of Susie Taulbee King. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Philadelphia United Baptist Church from 1927 until it closed and then a member of the Brushy Fork United Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Mary White and Dessie Londergan both of Dayton, Ohio, Viola Dunn of Lexington, KY, Ruth and husband Carson Rowe and Betty and husband Charles Neace all of North Judson, IN, and Ruby Tolson of Knox, IN: two sons, David and wife, Cora King of Trotwood, Ohio and Paul and wife Sandy King of Vancleve, KY; 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Bill King, Jr. and four sons-in-law.
