Carrie Cockerham Childers, 96, of 1525 Buchanan Fork Raod, Campton d. Sat. July 14, 2001 at KY River Medical center in Jackson. A native of Wolfe County, KY, Carrie was a daughter of the late Jim and Margaret Taulbee Kidd. She was a member of Landsaw Church of Christ and a housewife. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Clay Cockerham. She later married Richard Childers who also preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were four sons, Elzie Cockerham, Carl Cockerham, Forrest Cockerham and Billy Howard Cockerham. Survivors include three sons, James Miles Cockerham of Georgetown, Sterling Cockerham and wife, Pocahontas, and Henry Clay Cockerham and wife, Debbie, all of Franklin, Ohio; two daughters, Ruby Lawson and husband, Robert, of Campton and Joyce Wright and husband, James of Miamisburg, Ohio; one brother, Imon Kidd of Flat Rock, Michigan; One sister, Deloris, of Flat Rock, Michigan; 36 grandchildren, and a large number of great and great great grandchildren.
