Dr. Arnold L. Taulbee, 71 of Beattyville, KY, widower of Danielle Marie (Morrison) Taulbee, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY. He was born July 5, 1933 in Lee City, KY to the late Earl and Edna Taulbee. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a former physician and a member of the Beattyville Christian Center. Survivors include two sons, Brian Lee Taulbee of Lawrenceburg, KY, Arnold Keith (& Barbara) Taulbee of Stanton, KY; one daughter, Dannie Rochelle (& Stephen) Smith of Lawrenceburg, KY; and seven grandchildren, Devin, Shane, Breanna and Derek Taulbee and Christian, Corey and Molly Smith; one brother, Paul Taulbee of Dry Ridge, KY; two sisters, Janelle Buchanan of Flemingsburg, KY and Jackie Hanson of Ft. Thomas, KY; and a host of friends and relatives. Along with his parents, his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwayne and Danny Joe Taulbee and one sister, Janet Boshears.. Funeral services for Dr. Arnold Taulbee were held Sunday, July 18, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with the Brother Herman Newton officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery, with the Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Danielle Marie Taulbee, 66 of Beattyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg, KY. She was born April 7, 1938 in Middletown, Ohio, to Ruth (Brown) Morrison of Beattyville, KY and the late Dorsey Ray Morrison. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beattyville Christian Center. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Dr. Arnold Lee Taulbee; two sons, Brian Lee Taulbee of Lawrenceburg, KY and Arnold Keith (& Barbara) Taulbee of Stanton, KY; one daughter Dannie Rochelle (& Stephen) Smith of Lawrenceburg, KY; her mother, Ruth Morrison of Beattyville, KY: seven grandchildren, Shane, Devin, Breanna and Derek Taulbee and Christinan, Corey and Molly Smith; three brothers, Don Morrison of Jonesboro, TN, Chuck Morrison of Erwin, TN, Tim Morrison of Elgin, TX: one sister, Pat Morrison Haymaker of Beattyville, KY; and a host of friends and relatives.
