I found this at Ancestry.com's Obituary Collection Louise Page 84 of Rose's book The Post & Mail, May 27, 2004 Beulah Fletcher, 84 April 27, 1920 - May 23, 2004 Beulah Fletcher, 84, a resident of New Haven, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May, 23, 2004 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born on April 27, 1920 in Kentucky, a daughter of George and Helen (Carpenter) Taulbee, her formative years were spent in Kentucky where she completed her education. In 1939 she was united in marriage to Buck Fletcher and they made their home in Kentucky, later moving to Dayton, Ohio, for a short time. In 1942 they moved to Blue Lake, near Churubusco. From 1952 to 1967 they resided in Collins. Mr. Fletcher preceded her in death in 1966. In 1967 she moved to Fort Wayne and in 1988 she made her home with her daughter, Teresa Stewart, in New Haven. She was employed at Lutheran Hospital for 15 years. Survivors include a son, DeWayne (Jeanette) Manns of Carolina; a daughter, Teresa Stewart of New Haven; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Forest Taulbee of Jackson, Ky.; and two sisters, Ferbie Droddy of Fort Wayne; and Loretta Matz of Ravenswood, W. Va. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter and two brothers, Morris Taulbee and Reed Taulbee. A graveside service is at 1 p.m; Wednesday, May 26, at Blue River Cemetery, rural Columbia City. Louise, I have that George Taulbee was married to a Helen Bach. Is this wrong or was she married to a Carpenter before marring George? Also do you have a birth date for Reed Taulbee. Louise, I found George Taulbee in the 1930 Census. He is listed under the name Taubel. When you look at the record he looks like Taulbee, I guess who every typed it up had a bad day.
