Just wanted to add some things that I have learned during the years. I agree that there must be a generation missing. One of my notes says to look in the St. Johns church in Baltimore county, Md. This would be back in the late 1600s so there probably wasn't too many St Johns churches. I can no longer get to the Detroit Library to look for this. I was hoping that maybe Jerry would be able to look for this. Wish someone could find the names of John Talby other two children. That may be a clue. I have reasoned out the other sons of John and they didn't seem to fit. I was in London, England but didn't have too much time to look. I did find only one John Talby, no other Talby. there was 3 Darite Ralingson (Rollinson) and a list of their children. They were not from London. It was too far away for us to take a train and get back in one day. I was traveling with my great grand son's soccer team and we had to sort of stay together. I did go to Detroit Library to do some study. I looked in the annuals of Salem (4 vol. of them) Salem was incorperated in 1632. The layout of the plot was in a oval shape, with all the lots going from the outside. The inside was for other uses. That gave them some protection from the Indians. They had the names of the families listed on each plot, and yes John Talby had the lot closest to the church. Another interesting thing was that about 4 lots down was the lot of Thomas Oliver. My mother was an Oliver and I have found these two names together all through my history. Mrs, Oliver was also in trouble ant tried about the same time as Dorothy Talby.
