Too the BOOKLADY Just read your letter and was glad to see your spelling of Manda. I am a Manda Jane also. the original spelling, according to my birth certificate, was Manday Jane. We go back 4 generations and none of them are spelled with the Amanda. It really annoyes me when people call me Amanda. I was really shocked when I was searching the cemetaries and found my name on a tombstone in what we called the Uncle Perry Taulbee one at Mary, Ky. She had married McClelland Stamper.I have since met several of her family members. I am really interested in the John Burton and who he might be. My great grand mother was Elizabeth Burton. I am working on that line. But there was so many Burtons between War Creek and the Burton Bend, I am having a hard time seperating the two families. Would appreciate any help with them. Elizabeth Burtons mother was a Mahalia Vires from War Creek. I am really enjoying all the different information and the stories each one of you write. MANDA
