Wolfe County News - May 1960 Mrs. Laura Belle Taulbee, 88, died Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mae Hatton, at Campton after a short illness. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Other survivors are two sons, John A. Taulbee, Hazel Green, Newt Taulbee, Worthville, 27 grandchildren, 63 great great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Nickell and Mrs. Maude Dunn both of Wolfe County. Burial was in the John Rose Cemetery at Lacys Creek. J.M.
