Hi, I ran across this while researching some of my hubby's people in Indiana: Chronicle-Telegram Elyria, Ohio, Friday, Dec. 11, 1953 Transcribed by Louise Gaskill Recently Married Edward Olahs To Live in Indiana Announcement of the marriage of Miss Ruth Taulbee of Lorain and Edward R. Olah on November 21 at Franklin, Ind. was made at a reception given by the parents of the young couple, Mr. and Mrs. Lurman Taulbee of Lorain, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Olah, 166 Dilworth street last Saturday evening at the Jaycee Hall. Attired in a gray two-piece frock with which she wore a corsage of white carnations, the bride and Mr. Olah received approximately 75 guests from Elyria, Lorain, Detroit, Bedford and Athens. Identical corsages of white and yellow chrysanthemums were worn by the mothers of the bride and groom. A wedding cake topped with miniature bride and soldier centered the refreshment table on which were place bouquets of yellow and white mums and snapdragons. The bride attended Lorain High school and was employed in the Isaly store in that city where Mr. Olah was manager before his induction into the Army last May. Now stationed at Camp Atterbury, the groom was a graduate of Elyria High school with the class of 1951. The couple who received many lovely presents and a purse of money, will make their home at Edinburgh, Ind. This is Lurman, Ruth Taulbee's father in the above marriage announcement. I have her mother as Myrtle Lou "Mertie" Taulbee. d/o John Miles Taulbee & Amanda Centers/Center Ohio Deaths 1958-2000 Taulbee, Lurman Volume: 22752 Certificate: 004203 Autopsy: Unknown Gender: Male Date of Death: 18 January 1977 SSN: Birth Date: Father's Surname: Time of Death: Age: 72 Years Birth Place: Marital Status: Married Residence: Lorain, Lorain County Hispanic Origin: Years of Schooling: Certifier: Physician Referred to Coroner: Branch of Service: Method of Disposition: Place of Death: Lorain, Lorain County Race: White *Louise: This could be Lurman/Lerman, s/o John C.B.
