William later had a son and a daughter by Sophia Taulbee Linden, who was staying with them after her husband Curtis Linden, was killed in the war. Sophia and Curtis had a daughter named Dovie. Children of William Taulbee and Sophia Taulbee Linden were Media Taulbee and Jennings Taulbee. Media Taulbee married Denny Davis, son of Letch Davis.They had several children, don’t know exact number. Jennings Taulbee married Anna Hollon, daughter of Bradley Hollon and Callie Blankenship. They had four children. Elvin Taulbee married Rene Lykins on Feb. 11, 1911, (according to the net) they had seven children, Haskell Taulbee, Luther Taulbee, Lonnie Taulbee, and Eva Taulbee, Evalee Taulbee, Madeline Taulbee. I don’t know whom Haskell and Luther and Buford married or how many children they had. Lonnie died at about fifteen years of age.
